Samsung has just released One UI 7 Beta 3 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The update is currently available in South Korea and the US and is expected to expand to other regions soon. This could be the last beta before Samsung rolls out the stable version on April 7.
This One UI 7 Beta 3 update carries the ZYCG version code and is around 1.2GB in size. Notably, the update includes the April 2025 security patch, even though it is still March. More importantly, the new version brings a bunch of improvements and fixes.
One of the most anticipated improvements is the ability to remap the power button to launch Google Gemini instead of Bixby. Notably, this feature has not yet been rolled out to the Galaxy S24 series, despite the device having received five One UI 7 beta updates.
In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 also integrate new AI features such as call recording and summarization, as well as creating summaries of web content. In addition, the Audio Eraser feature that helps remove unwanted noise from videos has also been integrated.
One UI 7 Beta 3 also supports custom stickers and natural language search functions in the Settings section. For example, users can type commands like “My eyes hurt so much” to find settings related to the blue light filter or screen brightness.
Samsung has also fixed many bugs in the system, including the battery widget not working in landscape mode, the widget label overlap error, the media player display error, and some other display-related bugs. This update is considered the final preparation step for the stable One UI 7 release expected to be released next month.
