After a long wait, Samsung has officially opened registration for the One UI 7.0 Beta testing program, providing the opportunity to experience Android 15 with the latest One UI interface before the official launch in 2025.
Who can participate in the experience?
Currently, the One UI 7.0 beta program is exclusively for users who own Galaxy S24 series devices, including:
- Galaxy S24
- Galaxy S24+
- Galaxy S24 Ultra
Other devices will be added to the beta program in the next stages, but the Fan Edition model will not be supported, following Samsung’s tradition.
One UI 7.0 beta program supported regions
Currently, the One UI 7.0 beta is available in the following regions:
- United States
- Korea
- Germany
The program is expected to expand to other countries such as the United Kingdom, Poland, India, and China in the near future. Users in the US will need to use an unlocked device or can check if their carrier-locked version is eligible through the Samsung Members app.
How to sign up for the One UI 7.0 Beta
To sign up for the One UI 7.0 Beta, follow these steps:
- Open the Samsung Members app on your Galaxy S24, S24+, or S24 Ultra.
- Look for the One UI 7.0 Beta Program banner and tap it.
- Select Sign up to join the beta program.
- If the banner doesn’t appear, check your Notifications or try again later.
Once you’ve signed up, download and install the beta by:
- Go to Settings » Software update » Download and install on your device.
Important notes before installing
To ensure your data is safe during the testing process, back up all your data before installing the beta. This is a necessary step, especially when you are installing a major update like One UI 7.
